Where we are
We are located near the center of Santee California, about 20 miles north-east of Downtown San Diego. We are just 11 miles from both major universities, San Diego State University and University of California, San Diego.
Who we are
We are people -- just people. We live and work in San Diego County like almost three million others. But we believe that Jesus of Nazareth, crucified by the Romans almost 2000 years ago, was the Son of God. We believe that God raised Him from the dead, and that He ascended into the presence of God. We believe that His life and death fulfilled promises given by God at the beginning of time. Because God has been gracious to us and given His Son on our behalf, we submit ourselves to Christ's authority above all else.
What to expect
Our worship is simple. There is nothing flashy or showy. Since we use the New Testament as a pattern for our worship, we do the things we read of New Testament christians doing when they assembled -- sing, pray, exhort one another from God's Word, remember the Lord's death by observing the Lord's Supper (also called Communion), give of our means to support the work in Santee. We spend time after worship encouraging and edifying one another, sharing in the trials and triumphs of life on this Earth. If you are looking for a place to worship God in spirit and truth, you are more than welcome.
